He is a bass/baritone singer born in Thetford, Norfolk, England who started out as a chorister singing under the direction of Sir.
David Willcocks at Kings College, Cambridge. He undertook his studies, also becoming a prize-winner, at Londons Royal College of Music.
After his studies he became a performer who has sung with orchestras and ensembles nationally and internationally with numerous acclaimed conductors which include Harry Christophers, Sir John Gardiner, Richard Hickox, Sir Neville Mariner, Riccardo Muti, Kent Nagano, Roger Norrington, Thomas Sanderling and Edo de Waart along with many others.
He has also been a singer at the majority of the major British music festivals.
