Nicholas Corbishley Owen[1]MBE (born 1 November 1947) is an English television presenter and newsreader, best known for presenting the ITV breakfast programme Good Morning Britain, Good Morning with Anne and Nick, ITV Sport, and the BBC's regional news show Midlands Today since 1997.[2] He was also the chairman of Luton Town Football Club between 2008 and 2017.
Early life and education
Owen was born in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, to father Bertie, a headmaster and Dunkirk veteran, and mother Esme (née Burton), a music teacher. He was educated at Kingsland Grange Prep School, then Shrewsbury School between the ages of 7 and 18.
